I am currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from State Key Lab. of CAD & CG of Zhejiang University in March 2012. From November 2013 to May 2014, and from September 2015 to April 2016, I was a visiting scholar of the research group of Prof. Charlie C. L. Wang in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. My current research interests are computer graphics, geometry computing, rendering, image processing, and Computer-Aided Design.
I am also the chief coach of the ACM-Programming Contest Training Team of South China University of Technology. I have led the team to the world finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) five times. I have guided team members to win two third places, more than 30 gold medals in ACM-ICPC Asian Regional Contests and six gold medals in the China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC). The team has also won one championship and eight runners-up in the Guangdong Provincial Collegiate Programming Contest. In the past decade, the team members I have guided have won over 200 gold and silver medals in national and provincial competitions.
